It was announced last night that Manchester Airport are to open 15 new food and drink establishments as part of their huge terminal expansion project.
The £1bn super-terminal transformation will see a load of local restaurants and bars opening, with plans for a food hall dining area with street food stalls also in the pipeline for the future.
One of those restaurants will be a new branch of legendary Manchester-born burger and shake joint, Archie's, who also recently opened a new branch in the Arndale.
We’re delighted that a selection of the new food and beverage brands have a strong Manchester/North West provenance/heritage, including @lovearchies, @Grindsmiths, @PKBcoffee, Amber Alehouse and Bridgewater Exchange ? #MANeats pic.twitter.com/oGb9o7OCdD

It's a successful time for the famous pink and white fast food powerhouse, with plenty of expansion and new menus to roll out in coming months, and we couldn't be happier for them.
You'll be able to grab a burger and a shake before jetting off when the expansion is complete next year (Summer 2020) – so you only have 12 months to wait until your new favourite spot before heading to the departure lounge changes.
There are also 14 other restaurants, some hugely popular in Manchester, confirmed for the terminal expansion. You can find those here.
Congratulations Archie's! We can't wait to see it take off.
