It has been three years since the day that our city felt a pain like no other, but we will never forget.

On the evening of 22nd May 2017, an attack on Manchester Arena claimed 22 lives, injured many more and affected the world over.

Today marks the third anniversary of the attack and a chance to remember those affected.

A day to spread the message of love, not hate.

Although we cannot unite together in person this year, on what will always be a poignant day for our city, Mancunians are uniting in spirit to commemorate the lives lost and changed forever.

Across our social media platforms at The Manc this morning, we took the time to pay our respects to the victims, families and everyone affected by the attack and we have been so moved by the responses, recounts and experiences of our loyal community of Mancunians, that we feel compelled to share a few with you.

We will always be proud to be part of such a resilient city.

Manchester Arena Attack Three Year Anniversary

We can't stand side by side this year – so today we will still unite in spirit, on the third anniversary of the Manchester Arena attack. 🙏🐝
