A free outdoor cinema is coming to Manchester city centre this summer.
Popular courtyard The Oast House will be screening hit films such as The Greatest Showman, Anchorman and 10 Things I Hate About You.
The pop-up cinema will take over the courtyard in Spinningfields from the 10th of June to the 16th of July and will be completely free.

No tickets are necessary, and punters are told to ‘simply turn up’, bring a blanket and settle in for a ‘cinematic experience like no other.’
The open-air viewing area can host up to 350 people, but visitors are advised to arrive promptly as screenings start at 7 pm.
There will also be live Royal Opera House screenings of Carmen, The Marriage of Figaro and the Royal Ballet's Romeo and Juliet at The Oast House.

Food and drink can be ordered from The Oast House at the bar, but there is also a smartphone app where you can have your orders delivered to your seat.
However, it’s worth noting that in the event of bad weather, some screenings might be cancelled.
