Some Metrolink services have been suspended after a ‘suspicious object’ was found at one of their stops.
The bomb squad have been called in, and are currently dealing with the situation.
According to the MEN, they were called to a Metrolink stop in Oldham following reports of a 'suspicious object'.

Reports say the object was found near Freehold tram stop in Chadderton.
As a result, no trams are running between Newton Heath, Moston and Westwood, while bomb disposal assess the package.

Officers are currently responding to reports of a suspicious object found near to Freehold tram stop. Bomb disposal officers are attending the scene to make an assessment. There is currently no tram service running between Newton Heath and Moston and Westwood.
