Parklife

Parklife is almost upon us.

Manchester’s biggest music festival will return to Heaton Park this weekend with over 200 top live acts and DJ’s.

The year's line-up is absolutely mega, with the likes of The Streets, George Ezra and Blossoms all performing.

US rapper Cardi B was set to headline but has now pulled out as she recovers from cosmetic breast surgery and liposuction.

Parklife will see 80,000 festival-goers descend on the fields of Manchester. There will be nine stages including the main Parklife Stage, The Valley and Sounds of the Near Future Stage.

Exact times for acts won’t be given out until the day of the festival, but you can find stage splits on the Parklife website.

The Met Office’s weather forecast is advising that we might have some wet weather in the rainy city. But on a brighter note, Greater Manchester will be able to enjoy temperatures of up to 15C on Saturday and Sunday.

There’s expected to be a mix of rain and sunshine, so you’ll need to be prepared whatever the weather.

Gates open at 11 am on Saturday and at 12 noon on Sunday. Both will close at 11 pm.

Last entry is at 5 pm on both days and there is a strict no re-admittance policy if you leave the site.

The festival is now completely sold out. However, due to occasional fraudulent sales and failed payment plans, some ticket types may become available on the box office.

Parklife

Afterlife, this year's official Parklife after party, will take place at a number of city centre venues including Gorilla, Manchester Academy and Soup Kitchen.

Solardo, Jungle Cakes, Ed Solo and Mella Dee will be playing at the official afterparty alongside many more.

You can find all information about after parties on the Parklife website.

So there you have it, everything you need to know, enjoy guys.
