No longer will you have to mix ketchup and mayo yourself, as Heinz are launching their popular Mayochup sauce in the UK.
In Europe it won’t be called Mayochup, however, as another company has the name trademarked over here.
Instead, we will be able to get a bottle of Saucy Sauce, which is an awful name but as long as it tastes good I’m in.
how did they come up with a worse name than “mayochup” https://t.co/jInDyxvum3— Chris Owen (@ChristophOwen) August 9, 2019
The new condiment is a mixture of Heinz Ketchup and Heinz Seriously Good Mayonnaise, and will finally hit UK shelves after we were promised it back in March, following a successful launch in the US.
And we might be seeing more sauce combinations soon, as the popularity of Mayochup in the US led to the creation of Mayomust and Mayocue, which, you guessed it, combine mayo and mustard, and mayo and barbecue sauce respectively.
You’ll be able to get your hands on a 400ml bottle of Saucy Sauce from August 23rd for £2.69, and it’ll be available exclusively at Tesco.
