A film company is searching for somebody to play Liam Gallagher in a film being made about Alan McGee’s record label Creation.
Creation is the label that Oasis first singed to after being discovered by McGee in Glasgow. It also launched bands like Primal Scream and The Jesus and Mary Chain.
Burning Wheel Productions are after a look-alike of the Oasis frontman who can pretend to be a young Liam Gallagher circa 1994.
The audition advert reads:
Are you our Liam Gallagher? Burning Wheel Productions and Dan Hubbard Casting are looking for our Liam Gallagher for the feature film Creation Stories - shooting June 2019. Do you have the swagger? Do you have the look? Do you have the voice? We are looking for more than just a haircut and a parka.
Irvine Welsh, known for Trainspotting, has written the script for the movie and it's produced by Danny Boyle. Current cast members include Rupert Everett, Suki Waterhouse and Jason Flemyng.
