Manchester pub is giving away free pints to anyone called Neil

O'Neill's

Who comes to mind when you hear the name Neil?

A good, reliable, salt of the earth kind of guy, loves the football and pints? Well if the latter is true, then your Neil is in for a treat.

An Irish pub in the Printworks is giving away free pints to any Neils out there, and it doesn’t even have to be a first name, it can just be anyone with Neil somewhere - anywhere - in their name.

O'Neill's

O'Neill's is celebrating its 25th birthday in generous fashion, giving away free pints of Guinness to anyone with Neil in their first name, middle name or surname.

It doesn’t even have to be the classic spelling either, they’ll accept people who go by Neill, Neal, Neale or O'Neill, for example.

The bad news is there are only 25 pints of the good stuff up for grabs, and they’ll be dished out on a first come, first served basis. The offer is available between Monday April 22nd and Friday 26th.

O'Neill's

You'll need photo ID to prove you are a true Neil and claim your pint, and obviously normal booze rules apply and you must be 18 or over to claim your drink.

Danielle McKeefrey, general manager at O’Neill’s Printworks, said:

Myself and the whole team are really excited to celebrate 25 fantastic years of O’Neill’s with the people of Manchester. We couldn’t think of a better way to mark the occasion than to share our special day with fellow Neils. We’re looking forward to welcoming our wonderful guests to join with us in raising a glass and joining in the craic for this huge birthday celebration!
