Manchester set to be hotter than Ibiza over Easter weekend

What could be better than a four day weekend, as most of us (shoutout to those who don’t get these days off, I feel your pain) are going to be enjoying at the end of the week?

Well, four days off work with some incredible weather to go with it, that’s what could be better.

And that’s exactly what we lucky people of Manchester will be enjoying, as the weather is forecast to be hotter than many parts of Spain this Easter bank holiday weekend.

Temperatures could soar up to 22 degrees on Good Friday, with the heat continuing to rise into Saturday, which might see highs of 23 degrees.

The current cold spells we’ve been experiencing will be a thing of the past, although the next few days are still going to be a little chilly, with the temperature rising slowly upwards from Wednesday.

Not only will the temperatures rise, but we’re also going to experience a lot of dry sunny weather, so it’s the perfect opportunity to get the BBQ out or hit a few beer gardens.

Met Office Meteorologist, Helen Roberts said:

The general trend next week is one of warm weather and rising temperatures. We expect a lot of dry and bright weather as we head towards the Easter bank holiday after quite a cold weekend this week.

Chocolate and hot, sunny weather? Perfect…
