We could see the first ever I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! winner from Greater Manchester this weekend.
Salford’s Andy Whyment - known for his roles as Kirk Sutherland on Coronation Street and Darren on classic comedy series The Royle Family - is the hot favourite to win the final on Sunday.
If he's named King of the Jungle on Sunday, Whyment will make history as the only Mancunian to take the crown so far.
Happy Mondays and Black Grape musician Shaun Ryder came close in 2010, but was ultimately beaten by Stacey Solomon to finish runner-up.
Witty Whyment, though, has endeared himself to viewers during these past three weeks - earning a rapturous response for his rendition of Mr. Brightside during campsite karaoke.
His closest rivals appear to be Capital FM presenter Roman Kemp (listed at 7/4) and Eastenders actress Jacqueline Jossa (who is currently 9/1 to win).

The last show of the series takes place live on ITV on Sunday December 8 at 9pm.
