After a very strong run this year, the 2019 Manchester Christmas Markets finally come to an end this weekend.
Market stalls across the city centre will close for their own Christmas tonight (Saturday 21) at 9pm while Albert Square will pack up at the same time tomorrow evening.
Even better is that a lot of traders have slashed the prices on items city-wide, so if you found the markets a little expensive early December, then this is the perfect time for you to visit.
Grab yourself a bratwurst, some Hungarian goulash, a bowl of Spanish paella or a good old-fashioned hog roast during in what is the last weekend before Christmas.
And if you've already finished work for the holidays, Sunday night may as well be a Saturday, so knocking back some steins on Albert Square's last evening sounds like a pretty good idea to me.
