A Manchester city hotel that has only been open for a month has already been named one of the best hotels in the world.
The Stock Exchange Hotel, which opened in December, is officially 12th in a list of the World's Best New Luxury Hotels for 2019.
The hotel, which is based in the old Manchester Stock Exchange building, is owned by Manchester United footy legends Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs, along with experienced hotelier Winston Zahra.
The trio first acquired the building under the GG Hospitality brand in 2012 and the extensive renovation has taken years – and you can see why.
The stunning hotel has 40 lavish rooms including some of the best signature suites in the city.
But the best part of this huge venture is the massive 3,500 square foot top-floor apartment that has three bedrooms and a whopping garden terrace.
The penthouse also has its own entrance and get this... use of the hotel car, a brand new Lexus RXL. It also has its own gym, a 60-inch television, incredible custom furniture and amazing views of the city.
This isn't Giggsy and Neville's first venture though. The pair launchd the hugely successful Hotel Football next door to Old Trafford back in 2015, which mainly caters for football fans.
The duo have ploughed millions into their latest venture inside the previously derelict Stock Exchange, and they've completely transformed the gorgeous Eduardian building.
That's not all, though, because the building's old trading floor is now home to new restaurant The Bull & Bear, spearheaded by Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge.
The luxury hotel has everything you need, from incredible food to next-level luxury, if you ever get a chance to stay here, it will definitely be a memorable occasion.
The aforementioned list of luxury hotels, put together by Luxury Travel Intelligence, places The Stock Exchange in a respectable 12th place – sandwiched between hotels in country's like Hong Kong, Dubai and the Maldives.
Hotel rooms start from £160 per night, with a stay in The House (penthouse) costing roughly £1,750 per night – and we imagine a range of A-listers will be booking the latter out in 2020.
The Stock Exchange Hotel can be found on Norfolk St in the city centre – a short distance from either Market Street or Deansgate. Follow them on Instagram here.
