Tiger Tiger in the Printworks is closing down

Classic party spot Tiger Tiger is set to close its doors shortly, making room for a brand new bar, restaurant and club.

The Printworks venue closes just weeks after The Birdcage over the road announced they would be shutting down, although the Tiger Tiger site will be back open in another form later this year.

Its replacement will be inspired by the garden of Eden, and the new owners claim it’s going to be 'a playground of sensory delights' which will be spread over three floors.

‘Eden’ will feature a botanical-themed cocktail menu, wood-fired grills and sourdough pizzas, as well as three different nightclub experiences which offer 'a wonderland for late-night revelry' as the evening draws in.

The private karaoke pods will stay with a selection of over 1,000 tracks to choose from, and there’s going to be an outdoor terrace on Withy Grove.

A closing date for Tiger Tiger is yet to be confirmed, although it’s expected to be shut for around six to eight weeks for refurbishment before reopening as Eden later this summer.
