Wetherspoons is set for £200m splurge over the next four years - which will result in improved facilities, new boozers, and thousands of career opportunities.
By investing in existing pubs and building a bunch of fresh branches, the UK’s famous chain could create over 10,000 jobs.
A safe haven for booze-lovers who don’t want to break the bank, Spoons already has 875 pubs in Britain.
Before 2024, they are aiming to open new sites in Bourne (Lincolnshire); Waterford (Ireland), Hamilton (Scotland); Ely (Cambridgeshire); Diss (Norfolk); Felixstowe (Suffolk); Newport Pagnell (Buckinghamshire) and Prestatyn (Wales).
Wetherspoons locations in London, Leeds and Birmingham will all enjoy revamps and new facilities.
Founder Tim Martin said: "We are looking forward to opening many more new pubs as well as investing in existing pubs over the next four years.
"We are especially pleased that a large proportion of the investment will be in smaller towns and cities which have seen a decline in investment in recent years.
"The fact that we will be creating approximately 10,000 jobs is great news too.”
Job openings will appear gradually across a range of roles within Wetherspoons - including manager positions as well as bar and kitchen opportunities.
