Jeremy Kyle to return to ITV with two shows

Only weeks after he was taken off the air, controversial TV presenter Jeremy Kyle is reportedly set to return to our screens.

News broke last month that The Jeremy Kyle Show had been permanently taken off air, and at the time an ITV spokesperson confirmed the show was axed after a guest died.

It was reported that 63-year-old Steve Dymond died from an overdose in a suspected suicide, days after he had finished filming for the show. He was found at his home in Portsmouth after defending accusations that he had cheated on his fiancée.

But now reports are claiming Kyle will be returning to TV with several new shows, including another series of The Kyle Files, which previously saw him investigating issues like knife crime, underage drinking and legal highs in the UK.

It’s also been reported that the presenter is currently in talks with ITV about another show for the channel, with his previous series being used as a jumping-off point.

This includes his Jeremy Kyle’s Emergency Room series as well as High Stakes, a big-money game show that was axed after one series.

According to The Mirror, The Kyle Files will be returning to our screens in early 2020, while ITV holds discussions with Kyle about the other show.
