She claimed they “gave him his life back” after he suffered with severe hayfever symptoms for years.
With the warm weather set to continue, the pollen count increasing and many of us spending more time than ever outside during lockdown, one Mum has taken to social media this week to share a top tip she has discovered that could be life-saving for other hayfever sufferers.
After her son suffered with severe hayfever symptoms since he was just three years old, often having his eyes swell completely shut, she discovered a pack of hayfever relief wipes last year that she claims have “given him his life back” after trying everything else to no avail.
Posting on Facebook and to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, Margaret McInnes said: “Just a tip for anyone who suffers badly from hay fever. My son has tried everything going, but these wipes gave him his life back.”
“[He has] tried absolutely everything over the years. Eye drops / nose sprays – lots of different pills. Nothing worked. Showering 4/5/6 times a day to get pollen off him.”
“I can’t hang his clothes or bedding on the washing line.”
“These wipes which we discovered last year help loads. Anyone you know who suffers from this – get some packs of these wipes”.
After sharing the tip of these tried and tested wipes, Margaret’s post amassed well over 10,000 interactions and comments from other members of the public, not only thanking her for the recommended advice, but also claiming that they rapidly relieved their hayfever symptoms too.
One group member commented: “I got some yesterday. They are good and have very good reviews”.
Another wrote: “I got my son some they are helping. His hay fever is showing no signs of improving with age but they help for an instant fix”.
Suitable for use on both hands and face, these Nuage Hayfever Relief Wipes are infused with peppermint and tea tree oil to not only relieve symptoms, but also to soothe skin and prevent pollen from irritating it further.
The best bit about them, other than the ‘life-saving’ part of course? You won’t have to spend that much time looking to get your hands on them as they’ve been spotted for sale in The Range, B&M, Poundstretcher, Poundland and Savers.
Oh, and they’re only 99p too.
You can even get packs from both Amazon and eBay if you’re unable to make a trip to one of the above stores, but prices do vary and you may have to pay more for postage.
Either way, it looks like the days of carrying around an endless amount of tissues is finally over then.
