A woman from Swindon has expressed shock after finding what appears to be a 'meat face' in her 91p packet of Aldi bangers.
Yes, you did read that right.
Fran Webster, 28, took to Facebook after finding the misshapen sausage, hitting out at Aldi and demanding an explanation as to how it got there.
She wrote on Facebook:
So we just opened a pack of your sausages for dinner later and was shocked that there were only 12 sausages in a pack of 20! The last thing to come out the pack looked highly amused by the whole situation though! Please explain how this happened!
People have of course responded with amusement, with some pointing out that the real story is the bargain of getting 20 sausages for 91p.
Aldi has apologised, saying they are now in talks with the sausage supplier to try and ascertain how the problem occurred.

One person wrote on Facebook: "Can’t see how this isn’t a win-win, apart from the fact it implies you’re about to eat a packet of sausages that cost 91p."
Another wrote: "To be fair, it doesn't look like any more sausages would fit on that baking tray anyway. Dunno about the rest of you but I'd definitely eat the sausage face."
