Netflix is going to transform the classic Jurassic World movie into a fully fledged TV series, complete with the dinosaur antics we all know and love.
The animated series will be set during the same timeline as 2015’s Jurassic World and will follow the story of six teenagers left stranded on the dinosaur-infested island of Isla Nublar.
The show is set for release sometime in 2020 and will be called Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.
And good news for you movie buffs, it is executive produced by the one and only Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, Colin Trevorrow, Scott Kreamer and Lane Lueras.
Finally watched Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and it was two hours of me screaming "JUST GIVE THE LITTLE GIRL DINOSAUR POWERS, YOU COWARDS"— Anthony Carboni (@acarboni) May 25, 2019
Jurassic World is the fourth instalment of the Jurassic Park film series, and the first film in the Jurassic World trilogy.
There is also, of course, a third Jurassic World in the making and is expected to be released in June 2021.
We can’t wait.
