Gemma Collins was recently up in the North West, taking in the sights and sounds of Liverpool, Cheshire and Manchester.

While over in our great city, she was reportedly spotted visiting one of our most iconic sights - the infamous counterfeit shops of Bury New Road.

According to The Mirror, the reality star was spotted on a shopping spree for fake designer clothes only hours after plugging luxury brands on social media.

Earlier in the day the TOWIE regular had been at Tanya Bardsley’s boutique just 15 miles away in Wilmslow, before heading to where the real action is - because who doesn’t love a bargain?

Manchester’s infamous ‘counterfeit street,’ opposite Strangeways prison, is notorious for selling knock-off designer gear, and the police regularly raid premises on the strip.

The 38-year-old, who has her own label where she sells the Gemma Collins Collection for up to £80 a pop, was reportedly after a few fake tees.

After a shopkeeper let her in to one of the lockups, Gemma was browsing the XL t-shirts, which go for £12, or two for £20, The Mirror reports.

A source told The Mirror:

She was looking at fake Gucci and Balenciaga but ended up buying Fendi and Givenchy. She has so much money and she brags about her designer wardrobe on TV and Instagram yet she is buying knock-off stuff.

The Mirror asked Gemma for comment, but she declined.
