GMP’s subtle joke about wanted man goes viral

If you were ever to be arrested by the police, at the very least you’d hope your mugshot was 10/10.

In this day and age the police often utilise social media to help catch wanted people, and time and time again we see people getting absolutely rinsed for their appearance.

And that’s exactly what happened to a young lad from Trafford, after the police posted his photo online with a cheeky caption.

GMP Trafford North posted two photos of Connor Mcsorley from the Urmston area, who is wanted for breaching his licence.

But it was their subtle joke about his haircut that caught people’s attention. They wrote:

Connor MCSORLEY, 20, from the Urmston area, is wanted for recall to prison for breaching his licence. We have been on the fringe of catching MCSORLEY over recent weeks and we need the help of the public to locate him. Can you help us find MCSORLEY? Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact police 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

And they weren’t the only ones at it, with Declan Parry writing: “Hope there is a recall to prison for his barber. Absolutely shocking”.

Paul John Brackpool added: “A recall to prison toupee for his crime ???”
