Every time I go on holiday, I’m always paranoid I’ve either forgotten something vital or I’ve left something in my bag that I’m not allowed to take in my hand luggage.
Luckily it seems my fears are unfounded, as I usually get through security with ease.
Unlike this couple, who got to security before their flight to discover they had accidentally packed their pet cat in the hand luggage.
Nick and Voirrey Coole were pulled into a side room by security after the Isle of Man airport scanners discovered a furry little stowaway in their suitcase.
Candy the cat had decided to go on the trip of a lifetime, following her owners on their holiday to New York, where they were off to celebrate a 40th birthday.
Apparently Candy is always on the hunt for boxes, bags, and other tight spaces to hide away in.
You know that feeling, when you get ushered into a side room at airport security because you’ve got a cat in your hand...Posted by Nick Coole on Wednesday, October 16, 2019

You know that feeling, when you get ushered into a side room at airport security because you’ve got a cat in your hand luggage. Candy decided to sneak into our hand bag, thanks Barry and Lorna for picking her up so we can head off on our holiday. Fair play to airport security for helping to get her home so we could catch our flight.
Fortunately Candy was picked up by some friends and Nick and Voirrey made their flight to America.
So the next time you’re packing for a big trip, always check to make sure the cat isn’t hiding in your suitcase...
