Woman who travelled 82 miles for Tinder date called ‘fat’ and dumped when she arrived

If you took the time to travel 82 miles for a Tinder date the very least you’d expect would be a full date, complete with no insults about your appearance.

Unfortunately for one woman that was too much to ask, apparently, as she travelled 82 miles for a date only to be called fat and dumped as soon as she got there.

Jade Savage has now started a joke GoFundMe page to get her travel money back, which has well exceeded her target of £90 - at the time of writing it’s on £535.

Jade wrote on the GoFundMe: “Date called me fat and got offended when i told him he was rude and acting like a prick. So took me back to the train station 5 minutes later. He then offered to give me the £90 travel money back and blocked me when i said yeah. Just want to make my £90 travel money back so i can buy wine and sticks of lard.”

Jade says she spent £93 travelling from Leicestershire to Peterborough, but was dumped in the first five minutes of arriving.

According to the 28-year-old her date instantly told her she’d ‘put some weight on’ since they last met - four weeks previously - and then dropped her back off at the station when she kicked off about the insult, saying she’d ‘put him in a bad mood’.

She told The Sun:

He said, ‘Fuck me, you have put some weight on haven’t you?’ I was like, ‘No, you can’t say that.’ It was clear he wanted to call the whole thing off but I still hoped we could have a nice time so we went to his car. But he said, ‘I can say it, it’s a fact. You have put weight on, so therefore I can joke about it.’ I called him a prick but he then went berserk and said, ‘You what, you think I’m a prick?’ He drove me back to the station and told me I had put him in a bad mood and that I had to go home.

Jade says it cost her £30 in taxis, £12 on a missed coach, £46 on the train and a further £5 on wine to drink away her sorrows.
