Well guess what, your prayers have been answered and The Refinery Spinningfields will also be turning into a Pug Cafe, featuring a full menu of dog-friendly treats for the cute little friends.
Like the Pom and Dachshund Cafes, it’s being transformed in conjunction with Universal Pictures UK, to promote the release of their new film, The Secret Life of Pets 2. The film will hit our screens on May 24th, and is a follow up to the 2016 classic.
The pop-up Pug Cafe will be dedicated to the cute little guys, and the separate dog menu will boast doggy treats like pupcakes, dognuts (they really didn’t think that one through), and pompops, as well as pawsecco and paw star martinis for the booze hounds out there.
Both owners of pugs and dog-lovers are welcome to come down and check it out, with owners getting a free pupuccino for their pooch.
If you do want to head down, it will open to the public on May 19th and will be organised into two 70 minute sittings at 10am and 3pm.
Tickets are on sale now, and cost £7.50 for pug owners and £10 for poochless dog-lovers. If you want to go, pug owners need to email PugOwnerManchester@gmail.com, while pug lovers should email PugLoverManchester@gmail.com, letting them know the number of dogs attending, the number of humans, and a preferred time slot.
