An Abba disco party boat will set sail from Manchester in May

Is there a better way to celebrate the beginning of summer than a 70s Abba-themed boat party? The answer is no.

And residents of Manchester can experience just that, when the Abba disco party boat sets sail from Manchester next month for a night of 70s bangers and ABBA-inspired cocktails.

The Princess Katherine will open its doors to lucky ticket holders on Friday 24th May while a resident DJ pumps out a classic 70s soundtrack.

It will have a fully stocked bar and you'll even receive a free cocktail when you arrive, and there will also be light snacks and canapés throughout the evening to keep you going.

The boat will set sail from Rally Quay at around 7pm (or when everyone is on board) and will cruise Manchester's canal system before it finally docks at 10pm - when revellers can continue their night out in the city centre.

Tickets will cost you £40, which we think is a great price for a moving 70s nightclub full of ABBA bangers that will give you the best views of Manchester.

You can purchase your tickets here, but we'd suggest you hurry up, as last year's venture was a sell out.
