The Grinch has been spotted at the intu Trafford Centre, attempting to sabotage their Christmas celebrations in typical fashion.
The grumpy green intruder tried to stop the shopping centre from turning its lights on, but he was busted by workers on the scene.
While he tried to ruin the festivities for everyone once again, fortunately for Christmas-lovers the Grinch was caught green-handed on camera.
The shopping centre, famous for its spectacular Christmas lights, has spent weeks carrying out carefully planned installations, but as staff made the final touches it became apparent somebody was attempting to disrupt their hard work.
And there were no surprises who the culprit was - he’s very well known for his lack of Christmas spirit, after all.
Alison Niven, Centre Director, said: “We can confirm reports that an attempt was made to sabotage our spectacular Christmas lights, but shoppers needn’t fear, as we’re delighted that our Christmas lights are very much now on! No one steals Christmas at intu Trafford Centre.”

The Grinch is in Manchester for the arrival of Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical down at The Lowry - the first time he’s appeared on a UK stage.
