A festival featuring tributes to some of the UK's all time great bands is coming to Manchester and has almost sold out in its first year.
Fields Of Gold Festival, which is Manchester's biggest tribute act festival, will be hosted by legendary manc DJ Clint Boon at Ashton Cricket Club where acts such as Woasis, Ultimate Stone Roses, Courtbetweeners, The Smiths Utd, Kazabian and Desert Monkeys will take the stage.
Taking place on Saturday 7th September in Ashton under-lyne the one day festival will celebrate some of Manchester's most loved music alongside some of the UK's top tribute bands.
Tickets are moving fast for the event, which is Manchester’s newest tribute festival, with all early bird and discount tickets now gone – leaving very few tickets remaining.
The event will be located just a short tram ride away from the city centre, and only 10 metres from Ashton West Tram Stop.
The day of great music, which will feature a set from host Clint Boon, will kick off at 12pm and last entry will be around 4pm.
