Rumours were flying around yesterday about Liam Gallagher and that he might be playing Heaton Park in the summer.
Well it turns out that was true.
So if you haven’t heard I’m playing HEATON PARK 12th June 2020 I’ll be playing songs from my 2 no 1 solo albums and yes you guessed it some stone cold OASIS classics c’mon you know LG x— Liam Gallagher (@liamgallagher) November 27, 2019
Oh, and there's also the added value of a possible new song on the way, for good measure.
I may treat you to a new song— Liam Gallagher (@liamgallagher) November 27, 2019
The former Oasis frontman just confirmed on his twitter that he will be playing the Manchester park – ten years after Oasis's legendary headline gigs there.
The date lands one day before Parklife Festival starts, which is where the rumours stemmed from, but plenty of people assumed he would be going back to the Etihad Stadium.
Well, that's not the case, and we're already shaking like sh**ing dogs at the potential this gig has.
It probably won't be long until Noel wades in now.
