You can watch Jurassic Park at Victoria Baths this weekend

The Village Screen are taking it back to the ‘80s and ‘90s this weekend with some retro cinema screenings.

They’re transforming Manchester’s Grade II listed Victoria Baths into a stunning backdrop for two unique screenings of classic films.

Friday sees legendary ‘80s film The Breakfast Club hit the screen, while Saturday hosts ‘90s dinosaur classic Jurassic Park.

You can enjoy the films settled down with a heap of popcorn and sweets in old school, candy striped deckchairs inside the pool, or on wooden balcony seating above.

And before each screening you’ll have the chance to dance to some tunes from their DJ.

On top of that, there’ll be food from some of the North’s best street food traders, as well as a fully stocked bar offering craft ales, themed cocktails and fizz, as well as a selection of hot and soft drinks.
