FAC51 has announced it will return with two live socially-distanced Haçienda House Party shows at Victoria Warehouse on May bank holiday.
On Friday 28 May, Haçienda Classical will take over with Graeme Park and Manchester Camerata, plus DJ Paulette and Peter Hook.
On the second night, Sunday 30 May, we’ll see a special set from legends Orbital, alongside A Guy Called Gerald live with DJs Jon Dasilva and Justin Robertson.
With just a few hundred tickets available for each show, it’ll be an up close and personal performance for the FAC51 team – their first live gig in 18 months.

During lockdown, the Haçienda House Party helped to lift so many people’s spirits, at the same time as raising thousands of pounds for charity.

With COVID-19 restrictions easing in England next week, it means more events like this can finally take place.
Recent funding from the Arts Council as part of the Cultural Recovery Fund has also enabled the event to go ahead – making the comeback even sweeter.

On the shows, Peter Hook said: “To celebrate the lifting of restrictions, we are holding our fourth Hacienda House Party charity streaming event. The others were ecstatically received, raising spirits and a great deal of money for charities.
“With us coming live from Victoria Warehouse this time with Hacienda Classical and Orbital and the support of DCMS and Art Council England, I’m sure this will be the best one yet. Tony (Wilson) and Rob (Gretton) would be very proud.”

As well as the long-awaited live music return, organisers hope to raise money for two charities: The Christie Charity and Save The Children – both of whom work to create brighter futures. The link to donate is here.

Tickets for both events will go on sale at 10am on Friday 14 May – tickets for Hacienda Classical can be found here and Orbital here.
The shows will also be streamed online from 7pm to 12pm for free, if you can’t make it down.

Oasis Live ’27 ticket prices have been announced ahead of their almighty 2027 stadium tour.
The band announced a return to the stage this week, after weeks of cryptic videos and even a drone show over Manchester.
Their 2027 shows will span some of the biggest venues in the world, including an eye-watering 11 nights at the Etihad Stadium in their native Manchester, as well as four shows at Knebworth.
Oasis Live ’27 will also take them to Glasgow, Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Boston, Las Vegas, and Slane Castle in Ireland.
Tickets will be sold through a strict fan registration process this year, with only successful registrants even invited to try and buy tickets.
But ahead of that, Oasis have revealed the ticket prices for the Oasis Live ’27 Manchester shows – and unlike the dynamic pricing fiasco, prices will be fixed this time.
Fans will be able to snap up a ticket for as little as £74.60 for seated tickets, with seats then costing up to £266.60, including fees.
Standing tickets will be priced at either £173.60 or £206.60.
There are also hotel packages, coach packages, and VIP packages available.

Oasis Live ’27 – how to get tickets to huge Manchester Etihad Stadium run

Oasis are officially heading back out on tour, announcing 11 massive nights at the Etihad Stadium for 2027 – but tickets will work a little differently this time around.
The legendary Manchester band will be running the ticket onsale via a registration process, to give ‘genuine fans the best possible chance of getting tickets’.
Unlike a normal ticket sale, where fans can all battle in queues and waiting rooms to buy tickets in a general sale, this time fans must register to even get in the queue.
They’ve made the decision because of ‘anticipated extremely high demand for Oasis Live ’27’.
Those who fought the Ticketmaster War for Taylor Swift Eras Tour tickets will be familiar with the process, but here’s everything Oasis have shared so far.
A registration process will be in place to access the onsale for Oasis Live ’27 – this is the only public way to access tickets.
Registrants will be selected at random to receive a unique code, which will allow you to try and get tickets.
You must use the email used for your Ticketmaster account to register for the process.
Receiving a code does not guarantee that you will be able to buy tickets, but it does get you into the right queue.
There will then be different onsale times and dates for different shows and cities, with ticket onsales taking place between Friday 25 September and Sunday 27 September.
After entering your email, you’ll receive an extra link, where you can rank your preference on cities you would like to see Oasis in.
Fans will then have to answer a trivia question – ‘Which Oasis album was released in 1995?’
