The first wave of acts has been officially announced for Outbreak Festival Manchester 2025 and the lineup is already shaping up to be a rager.
Having quickly established itself as the biggest celebration of hardcore, pop-punk and alternative in Greater Manchester, Outbreak Festival is growing fast, especially after a super successful pair of events earlier this year.
Broken down into summer and autumn events, the two lineups just gone had the likes of Hot Mulligan, American Football, Movements; Action Bronson, Soccer Mommy, comeback kings The Story So Far and many more take the stage. Summer 2025’s weekender is looking equally promising so far.
Landing back in Manchester on the 15 and 16 June, the next edition of Outbreak Fest will be here before you know it. That’s what we’re telling ourselves, anyway – we’re literally fidgeting with excitement.
Founded back in 2011 by two teenagers, Jordan Coupland and Lee Follows (and by teenagers, we’re talking literally 14), Outbreak is approaching a decade and a half on the live music circuit, having seen a noticeable ramp up in popularity over the past couple of years.

Taking place over at the Bowlers Exhibition Centre, more commonly known as the BEC Arena – a hugely underrated venue, by the way – the next summer lineup not only features shoegaze legends Slowdive, hardcore heavyweights Knocked Loose, as well Manchester’s genre-bending Maruja and more.
One of the best things about the festival is the mix of music on show too, with alternative hip-hop favourites Danny Brown and Denzel Curry both joining the lineup.

Better still, this is just the tip of the iceberg: there are yet more artists to be confirmed and if previous years are anything to go by, there’ll be some big hitters still to come for the BEC over in Stretford.
Outbreak is also heading outdoors and to London’s Victoria Park for the first time ever later this year, with contemporary icons Turnstile already confirmed as the headliners for the one-day festival. Fire.
Outbreak comes to London Victoria Park for the first time on Friday 13th June 2025. A curated one day event headlined by @TURNSTILEHC , with many more artists still to be announced.
We can only pray that they will be making their way to Manchester too but even if not, a name this huge must mean there’s someone just as big coming to 0161, surely?

Sign-up for pre-sale is already live with tickets going on sale from 10am this Thursday, 28 November; as for general admission, they go live at the same time on Friday (29 Nov).

Boney M, The Cheeky Girls, and Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK stars are all on the lineup at Salford Pride’s popular Pink Picnic this summer.
As this summer marks 15 years of Pride in Salford, Salford Pride has announced a whole host of exciting events to celebrate – including the return of The Pink Picnic, its biggest family-friendly celebration yet, with headliners like 90s and 00s music icons, community talent, and even a ‘bigger and bolder’ Youth Zone for 2026.
Returning to Peel Park once again, The Pink Picnic brings together LGBTQ+ community, allies, families and friends for a day built around community, joy, and belonging.
For 2026, Salford Pride is expanding the experience further with even more to do across the park than ever before.
The Pink Picnic has been part of Salford’s Pride story since 2011, but this year’s 15th anniversary addition is set to be one for the history books, as alongside a headline lineup featuring Boney M, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’s Kyran Thrax and Paige Three, The Cheeky Girls, Big Brovaz, Booty Luv, and Baby D, a strong programme of community acts will also be spotlighted.
Some of the exceptional community acts already named on the lineup so far include Tallulah Guard, Fear of Marko, and John Tucker.
Across the day, visitors can also shop from dozens of community stalls and market traders, take part in or watch the much-loved annual dog show, and visit the ‘bigger and bolder’ Youth Zone that’s designed to help young people feel seen and celebrated.
“Celebrating 15 years of Pride in Salford feels really special, and we wanted 2026 to feel like a proper thank you to the community that’s built this with us” said Scott Turzański, who is the Head of Marketing and Brand at Salford Pride.
“The Pink Picnic is a family event – it’s welcoming, it’s joyful, and it’s about making space for everyone.”
The Pink Picnic returns to Peel Park in Salford next month on Saturday 13 June, and you can find out more and book tickets online here.

“It always means so much to return to the UK – the audiences there have given me some of the most unforgettable moments of my career.”
As for here in our city, he last played Manchester back just a few short years ago at the AO Arena, selling out the 20,000-seater space on 29 November 2023.
Now, though, he’s upgrading to approximately 23k this time, with die-hard fans being encouraged to download his very own ‘Donny App’ to secure the earliest possible access.
