Charli XCX is coming to Manchester on her huge upcoming arena tour, announcing a show at the new Co-op Live arena.
The British singer has announced the tour in support of her forthcoming album BRAT, her sixth studio album.
Charli XCX was discovered through Myspace way back in 2008, hitting the big time in 2012 with the release of the two-time platinum single I Love It.
She went on to have huge success with tracks like Boom Clap and Doing It, as well as featuring on huge songs like ‘Fancy’ with Iggy Azalea and ‘Girls’ with Rita Ora.
She recently went viral again with a remix of her song Von Dutch, featuring an ad-libbed scream from TikTok star Addison Rae that’s racked up millions of likes.
The star also enjoyed breakout success with her Barbie soundtrack contribution ‘Speed Drive’ last year, and is now executive producing the score for the A24 film ‘Mother Mary’ with Jack Antonoff.
Charli XCX is set to release BRAT on Friday 7 June in the midst of festival season, and ahead of her tour dates this winter.
She’s promising it will be an ‘exhilarating club record built around high art references and social commentary.’
She celebrated the launch of the BRAT campaign with a record-breaking Boiler Room in Brooklyn with A. G. Cook, George Daniel, Finn Keane and Doss. More than 40,000 people registered to attend.
Last year, Charlie XCX was honoured with the Visionary Award at the Ivor Novellos.
Her newly-announced BRAT tour will see her perform in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow in November and December.
She will be supported by with special guest Shygirl on all four dates.
