There’s a brand new sports and games bar coming to Manchester
Box Bar is the newest venture from the teams behind well-loved Manchester hangouts Manahatta and Banyan.
There’s a brand new sports and games bar coming to Deansgate and it’s only a stones throw away from the lively action at the heart of Manchester city centre’s nightlife scene.
It’s the newest venture from the teams behind well-loved Manchester hangouts Manahatta and Banyan.
Specialising in top-notch American-style food, bar games and a wide range of live sports screenings, Box Bar – a brand owned by Arc Inspirations – already has popular sites in Leeds and Liverpool, with the Manchester branch set to be the fourth opening for the Box Bar concept.
Box Bar will take up a two-storey 8,000 sq ft unit on Deansgate, with a planning application for the large site having been recently accepted.
This brand new Manchester location is set to open doors to the public in the recently completed 125 Deansgate building, which is just across from Australasia and the John Rylands Library.
There’s also rumoured to be an outdoor terraced seating area included in the application too.
Other Box Bar locations across the UK give Mancunians a look into what to expect once doors open here and with HD TV screens, shuffleboard tables, dart boards, karaoke machines and a menu chocked full of burgers, pizza, loaded fries and more, it’s safe to say we’re in for a bloody good night.
No official date for opening has been confirmed yet, so we’ll just have to sit wait and see.
