We're always calling Manchester one of the most picturesque cities in the world.

Yeah, we're biased. But when you look around, it's very difficult to argue.

Visit Manchester have compiled a definitive list of the most Instagrammable spots in the city - and featured below are some of the highlights.

Nothing beats strolling down that canal on summer's day; perhaps diving into The Wharf for one or two.

Oxford Road Corridor

This long stretch of road is always changing - meaning there's always new images to drool over.

St Peter's Square

Historic and beautiful, St Peter's Square is home to craned necks, gawping mouths and snapping cameras at any time of day. There's just so much to look at.

Shambles Square

When the sun comes out, it feels like the whole of Manchester floods to Shambles Square. This incredible little section of the city was built around The Old Wellington Inn - which has stood since 1552.
