If you fancy yourself as the best Pokemon trainer in the business, strap on your backpack and head to Sefton Park in April.

For one weekend only, the green space in Liverpool is going to be home to a Pokemon GO safari zone.

Across 17-19 April, Pokemon fans - with Pikachus in tow - will pile into the park to hunt for the rarest of beasts and navigate new challenges.

The safari zone is the first of its kind in the UK, with similar events taking place across the pond in the United States.

However, you'll also need a ticket as well your Pokeballs.

Passes are being launched at 8am on 31 January through the Pokemon GO app - and they'll be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
