Didsbury Gin are providing Greater Manchester Police with disinfectant products for the foreseeable future, by switching up production to manufacture hand sanitisers.

The Manchester based gin producer has grown from strength to strength since its inception in 2017 and are "proud to be supporting a pillar of the Mancunian community during these uncertain times".

Liam Manton, founder of Didsbury Gin, said: “The chancellors’ recent comments about 'being judged by our capacity for compassion' really struck a chord with us during last week's statement.

"We are extremely proud to be doing our bit for the community during this difficult time.”

Manchester gin-thusiasts Mark Smallwood and Liam Manton created Didsbury Gin in 2017 and the brand has gone from strength-to-strength since their Dragon’s Den appearance in January 2018.

Last year was a massively successful year for the drinks business, who last month announced that domestic sales rapidly surpassed the £1m mark.

More than ever it’s important to keep those gins up, Didsbury Gin are also providing a 25% discount across their products with free delivery for all NHS staff, police and fires services.
