EasyJet passengers can now swap upcoming flights for ‘anytime, anywhere’ trips

Easyjet is offering passengers the chance to change their flights to a new location on a future date, without having to pay anything extra. 

The Independent has reported that the airline is informing certain travellers they can change their ticket to another destination in Europe at "any time" they desire.

Those who have booked a cheap short-distance flight to Dublin, for example, may be able to travel somewhere further away instead.

Easyjet is sending emails to customers who qualify for the offer.

Airlines have been inundated with refund demands following the outbreak of COVID-19, with customers complaining that the process of claiming money back has been extremely difficult.

Passengers are being offered 'credit' for future travel instead of refunds in some cases.

Every airline has their own policy on cancelled flights, and most have published statements on their websites.

The current government advice is to avoid all non-essential travel.
