Mirror balls, big beats and rainbow glitter will descend on Mayfield Depot on Easter Sunday – as La Discotheque arrives in town for an interactive party in Manchester.

Hosted on streaming platform STARDM, the all-day event will be serving up a big dollop of summer disco with a star-studded bill featuring Disco Classical & DJ Jamie Bull, PBR Streetgang, Bill Brewster, DJ Paulette, Mix-Stress and Bad Fun.

Special guest DJs will also be performing live from La Pisscothèque (La Discothèque’s famous Rave in the Loos) for some bathroom banter and beats.

STARDM lets viewers set up their own virtual party rooms for the event – with a dress code of ‘glitz and glam’ for the occasion.

Kat Warburton, MD of La Discotheque, said” “Forget the Easter bunny this year – La Discotheque is bringing flamingos and fun to your sofas.

“Following a recent sell-out for a La Discotheque event at Printworks London we’re thrilled to be able to bring this virtual experience to all of the fans that missed out.

“This is a prime opportunity to create your own festival at home with family and friends and have a last lockdown party of a lifetime.”

As the funky music and extravagant performances are beamed online – a gigantic screen will mirror the antics of the mini La Discotheque parties going on around the world.

The event will be streamed from Escape to Freight Island at Depot Mayfield between 1pm and 9pm, April 4.

Tickets for the whole event are £5 a pop – covering production costs whilst 10% of revenue is donated to the Mayor of Manchester’s chosen charities.
