McDonald’s is officially reopening branches for walk-in takeaway and click and collect orders from 17 June.
The Golden Arches has already reopened more than 900 restaurants for drive-thru across the UK, but from next week, fast food fans will be able to order in-person at 11 McDonald’s service station locations.
Social distancing measures will be in place, including one-way systems and limits on customer numbers.
Dining spaces and toilets will also be closed.
The locations of the branches set to reopen will be confirmed next week.
Delivery options are also being increased from 10 June – meaning more people are likely to be able to order via UberEats.
The limited menu is being steadily lifted from 24 June, too, with breakfast items being rolled out in select restaurants.
McDonald’s UK & Ireland chief executive Paul Pomroy said today: “We’re delighted to be back.
“I am extremely proud of our employees, franchisees and suppliers who are working so hard in so many communities already.
“The high street is at the heart of our business, it is where we started in the UK, in Woolwich over 45 years ago.”
