Police issue appeal to find missing woman last seen at a hospital in Bury

GMP said officers are becoming "increasingly concerned" about her welfare.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) has issued a public appeal for information after a woman has gone missing from a hospital in Bury.

According to the appeal issued by GMP, 60-year-old Mary Taylor, from Littleborough in Rochdale, was last seen leaving the grounds of Fairfield Hospita at around 6.20pm on Tuesday 15 February 2022.

Mary is described as white, approximately 5ft4 tall, and of slim / medium build with dark brown hair tied up in a bun.

She was last seen wearing a long black coat with a hood, blue pyjama legging bottoms, black / blue loafer-style shoes, and a green t-shirt with pink on the chest, according to eyewitnesses and an image captured by the hospital on CCTV

The police force has issued the appeal for information on social media today.

GMP said officers are becoming “increasingly concerned” about the welfare of Mary, and want to ensure she is found safe and well.
