Police have released a new image of a man they’d like to speak to regarding a sexual assault and a serious assault in a Northern Quarter bar.
The incident saw one 22-year-old female punched in the face, while another 23-year-old woman was suspected to have been sexually assaulted.
The incidents occurred inside The Freemount on Oldham Street between 11pm and 11.30pm on Sunday 29 August.
GMP said that two males approached a group of females on a night out and tried to start a conversation.
One is then suspected to have sexually assaulted one of the group of women while they continued to talk to them.
After being told that the women were not interested, the males turned away, and one of the females pretended to pour a drink over one of their heads.
He then turned around and punched a 22-year-old female in the face, causing serious injuries.
A report was made to GMP the following day and the investigation is ongoing.
