Johnson has been suffering health complications since testing positive for COVID-19 in March.
Foreign Secretary, Dominic Raab - effectively the Deputy PM - is currently filling in for Johnson and will now undoubtedly be given a more effective role in leading the UK through the COVID-19 pandemic.
