Claustrophobic puzzle gameshow The Cube will soon be back on screens again for the first time since 2015, Phillip Schofield has confirmed.
Schofield – who presented the programme throughout its original six-year run – announced the news via his Instagram on Sunday (July 5).
The screenshot contained a message claiming The Cube would return to ITV for a “brand-new series” with a challenge that would be “bigger than ever”.
They’re also looking for new contestants.
Given the current restrictions in place, applicants will need to be from the same household (or household support bubble) in order to take on the new tasks together.

Whilst Schofield has not officially confirmed his attachment to the new series, his social media post has prompted many to believe he will be stepping back in to resume his duties as host.

Oasis warn fans of scams ahead of Live ’27 tour ticket codes being sent out

Oasis have issued an official scam warning to fans ahead of ticket codes being sent out from today.
In case you need bringing up to speed a little, it was announced last week, following the unprecedented success of the reunion tour, Oasis Live ’25, last year – including five nostalgia-drenched gigs at Manchester’s Heaton Park – Oasis would be hitting the road once again in 2027, and this time around, they’re going BIG.
We’re talking 11 nights at the Etihad Stadium and a return to the iconic grounds of Knebworth for six special shows there too, kind of ‘big’.
“As ticket information and unique codes are about to be distributed, please remain vigilant. Scammers may attempt to impersonate Oasis, our mailing list, or our ticketing partners. Anyone promising you a code that does not come directly from Oasis is not genuine.
“Any codes that are offered for sale are fraudulent and will not enable you to buy tickets. Code emails will be sent only between Thursday 24 September and Sunday 27 September.”
So, if you are one of the lucky ones, what do you need to be looking out for? Well, if you have been randomly selected to receive a unique code, as mentioned, your email will come only from [email protected], and will use the name and email address you registered with, as well as contain a ‘unique, personal, and non-transferable’ code.
The codes will come direct you to Ticketmaster, and nowhere else.
Do not respond to any message that asks you to pay for a ticket code, any that request your password or card details, pressures you to make a payment, or directs you to a website other than the official Ticketmaster site.
“Please check your junk/spam folder for genuine emails, but remain vigilant,” the warning continued.
“If you receive a suspicious message, do not click any links or make any payment. Resale tickets will not be available until nearer the events and will only be available at the price originally paid through Ticketmaster and Twickets.
“Stay safe, stay alert, and only follow official ticketing information.”

‘Remember to support genuine independents’ – Manchester’s rotisserie chicken bistro Tartuffe announces closure

Rotisserie chicken bistro Tartuffe has called final orders on its time at popular city centre hangout, Side Street.
Serving some of the best rotisserie chicken in Manchester – ‘sexy chicken’, if you will – Tartuffe first landed at Side Street inside the ABC Building back in the later summer of 2024, and quickly became known and loved by critics and customers alike for not just their rotisserie options, but also their stylish bar snacks and standout sides.
But despite being a roaring success these past two years, Tartuffe took to social media this week to announce the end of the ‘longest pop-up ever’, with its final service being tomorrow (25 September).

Announcing its closure on Instagram, Tartuffe wrote: “That’s right, our time at Side Street has come to an end and our final service here is this Friday.
“It’s been an incredible two and a half years cooking for the wonderful people of Manchester and we’re hugely thankful to everyone who’s been to see us whilst we’ve been here.
“Another big thanks to the staff at Side Street who we’ve loved working with. We’ve made some great friends and worked with some absolutely brilliant people.
