A string of retailers, food chains and other venues have closed their doors for the foreseeable future today amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Manchester city centre is bit by bit becoming a desolate ghost town – as doors continue to shut at pace.
And the next on to bite the dust is The Printworks, who today announced they have taken government advice to close up until further notice, along with all of the venues inside it.
The official statement reads: "Following the continued development of the COVID-19 situation, and in line with government advice, Printworks will be closed until further notice.
"The health of our tenants, centre teams and visitors is paramount and we are working hard to ensure people are being supported wherever possible. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenging time.
"Please follow the latest advice from the NHS in relation to the virus.
"Make sure you're following us on social media for the latest updates as the situation changes, where we'll also keep you entertained during this period of social distancing with regular quizzes, film and music suggestions and throwbacks!
We hope to see you soon in happier and healthier times. Until then, take care of yourselves and each other."
