First, they brought us Hacienda gin, and now, Three Little Words is serving us a boozy Hacienda brunch – bringing together some of the iconic club’s original DJs and founders for a one-off knees-up.
Hacienda stalwarts Graeme Park, Peter Hook, Tom Wainwright and Herbie Saccani are teaming up with the owners of Manchester Gin to throw a boozy brunch in their bar under the archways ahead of a spectacular live orchestral show at Castlefield Bowl.
Soundtracked by a four-to-the-floor bassline and some of the era’s most celebrated hits, Hacienda superfans can get stuck into an electric day of music, food and drink – with a warm-up brunch taking place ahead of the show, followed by a raucous afterparty as the club celebrates its 40th anniversary.
Serving a specially-created cocktail menu using the club’s acid house-inspired FAC51 gin alongside a selection of popular brunch dishes including eggs benedict with Hacienda hollandaise, crispy duck, and banana bread french toast.
Leading the warm-up brunch, Peter Hook will take to the decks during the day ahead of the huge Sounds of the City Hacienda Classical show.
Then, after Haçienda Classical finishes at Castlefield Bowl, the afterparty will kick off again at Three Little Words with Graeme Park taking to the decks as he returns to the arches for the Hacienda’s second 40th birthday celebration this summer.
Tickets are priced at £35 and include an arrival G&T, cocktail and plate of your choice. Due to the intimate nature of the venue, tickets are limited to just 120 in total – promising a unique and intimate 40th celebration.
