We’ve all been there… You shuffle to the till at Aldi and realise you have a week’s worth of shopping to bag up while trying to catch it all as the checkout assistant launches it at you.
There’s a huge queue behind you because only one of the five checkouts is open and you’re in the middle of breaking up with your partner because you’re both handling the situation horrifically.
Trust me, I know. But there may be hope for all of us…
One savvy mum has gone viral on Facebook after sharing her simple yet genius solution to packing in the hell hole we all love – and it will seriously save you some time.
The tip also helps save time getting shopping into the car and has inspired other customers to give it a go.
Aldi shoppers are usually happy to tolerate the speedy checkouts as they are in no doubt saving a fortune going to the budget supermarket in the first place – but this tip just makes a trip there ten times more worthwhile.
Am I getting carried away with myself? Maybe. Do I care? Nope.
The trick is, like I said, simple yet genius, and requires two simple things. One of them is a plastic tub with handles, and the other is another plastic tub with handles.
Boom.
The mum shared the tip into the wonderful ‘Aldi Mums’ Facebook group, and it got a lot of positive attention in no time.
She wrote: “I know there are the Aldi hanging bags for when we shop but I’ve been using these tubs for a couple of years now and love them.
“They fit perfectly into the trolley and so easy to get in and out of the car. If they’re a bit heavy I just put some of the goodies into the other while putting the first into the boot.”
Thank you unnamed mum, we salute you.
