Dyson has opened a new shop in Manchester where shoppers can have a go with its high-tech gadgets.
The new Dyson Demo Store – the second to open in the UK – has a full range of Dyson products and even a Beauty Lab showing off its hair tools.
The Trafford Centre store gives people the chance to vacuum up a ‘variety of debris’ and see how the tech giant’s air purifiers work.
It will also allow shoppers to see the cult hair tool, the £479.99 Dyson Airwrap, in action, as well as the brand’s other hair styling technologies.
Customers can book in for a wash and style in the Beauty Lab, with three styling stations and Dyson Stylists who will provide a personalised service based on hair type.
Its 130 sq metre space in the shopping centre joins an existing Dyson Demo Store in London, and several Demo Zones in shopping malls across the country.
Kristofer Johnson, the store manager at the new Trafford Centre Dyson Demo store, said: “Dyson operates more than 300 Dyson stores worldwide and this new Dyson Demo store in Manchester is the second to open in the UK.
“Together with our Dyson online store, this store in The Trafford Centre in Manchester forms a part of Dyson’s growing ambitions in direct-to-consumer retail, providing consumers across the North of England with more opportunities to discover Dyson technology – through both the virtual and physical world.”
Zoe Inman, centre director at Trafford Centre, said: “The new Dyson store is a fantastic addition to Trafford Centre, we’re delighted to welcome the brand.
