Velvet on Canal Street is hosting a brand-new drinking experience featuring limited-edition wines by the one and only Kylie Minogue.
The beloved hotel, bar and brasserie in the heart of Manchester’s iconic Gay Village have teamed up with the pop queen and long-standing LGBTQ+ icon to deliver a new luxury wine offering.
Positioned as the only place in Manchester where you can get your hands on a plethora of official Wines by Kylie Minogue, we just gave even more of a reason to pop into Velvet this summer – not that you needed one.
We just can’t get this out of our heads and, no, we won’t be apologising for even one pun.
Available to enjoy on the restaurant and hotel’s sun-trap terrace out on the ever-bustling Canal Street, whilst enjoying the lavish interior of the bar itself or up in your room if you just fancy sitting in bed and watching Kylie music videos, you can cheers to the pop princess however you like.
First set up back in 2020 and having initially rolled out to the vino-loving masses over in the US, the brand has now arrived in Manchester, with a total of nine different wines as well as her brand new Brut Prosecco, of which there are only a handful available and, yes, that’s only at Velvet too.
With the stylish Manc drinking spot having sold over 10,000 bottles of her popular rosé prosecco alone and Ms Minogue shifting over three million bottles in her first two years of business alone, it’s safe to say people flock to her booze just as much they do to her gigs.
She might be one of the best-selling artists of all time but she also happens to make a pretty bloody good glass of fizz.
You can view the full collection of wines through her online store and believe us when we say this isn’t just any old celeb putting out a run-of-the-mill product and simply slapping their name on it: we enjoyed every wine we tried.
But don’t just take our word for it, pop along to Velvet Manchester yourself and try it for yourselves – especially if the sun is out as that terrace is to die for.
Right, somebody get ‘Spinning Around’ on the speaker, because we’re certainly about to be after a few glasses of the good stuff.
