Apparently Cadbury is creating a chocolate bar stuffed with Mini Eggs and is planning to release it before the year is out.
Social media account Great British Foods revealed the news online this morning (19 October) – posting a teaser image of the wrapper and sending Facebook into pandemonium.
The accompanying caption, which calls the item a “game changer” reads: “Mini Eggs chocolate bar being released in December for Cadbury’s Easter 2021 range.”
The chocolate bars, themed around Easter, are rumoured to appear on shelves during an entirely separate holiday, which on the face of it seems a little odd.
However, this isn’t the first time Cadbury has released its product range way ahead of schedule.
Last year, the confectionary conglomerate revealed Easter 2020 items five months before they were set to hit stores.
Regardless, it’s safe to say most customers won’t give two hoots if these Mini Egg Chocolate Bars do become available before the year is out.
It’s been a bloody morbid one to say the least – and a hybrid choccy bar would at least let us to end things on a high.
Keep your eyes peeled to see when these snacks surface.
