Greggs has delighted fans today by announcing the relaunch of its JustEat delivery service and it’s rolling out right across Greater Manchester.

JustEat users in Greater Manchester have reported receiving emails from the ever-popular high street bakery chain today to let them know that “the bakes are back”.

Even better, there’s no minimum spend either.

Greggs first partnered with JustEat to bring a selection of its best-loved baked goods direct to front doors across the country back in January, but the service was believed to have been temporarily suspended after the closure of stores nationwide amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The bakery chain confirmed that 800 of its branches across the UK would be reopening doors to customers once again on 19th June, including a number in Greater Manchester, but no word was given on the resuming of the delivery service at that time.

A total of three Greggs branches are now believed to be delivering to areas across the region.

According to the JustEat website, one Manchester city centre store (King Street), the Levenshulme branch, and the Oldham (Henshaw Street) branch are now all eligible for Greggs delivery, with fan favourites Steak Bakes, Sausage Rolls, Vegan Sausage Rolls and Bacon Breakfast Rolls among the items all featuring on the delivery menu.

Whilst there had previously been certain minimum spending limits for delivery, this is believed to have been removed, although delivery charges and radius ranges will still apply.

Andrew Kenny, Managing Director of Just Eat UK, said: “Greggs has proved extremely popular with our customers, especially during breakfast, demonstrating that as a nation we love the convenience of getting our favourite food delivered.”

Greggs has indicated that further stores will become eligible for delivery in the near future, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled and check back.
