Krispy Kreme is giving free doughnuts this week to people with a birthday during lockdown
An Original Glazed Doughnut is free to everyone who celebrated a birthday during lockdown.
Krispy Kreme is handing out free doughnuts across the UK this week to those who have had their birthday fall between a certain date range.
The ever-popular doughnut manufacturer, which has a number of dedicated outlets and stockists throughout Greater Manchester, is offering a free Original Glazed Doughnut to everyone who has celebrated a birthday during lockdown.
If your birthday fell between 23rd March – 3rd July, then this is your lucky week.
Not only is this tasty gesture to celebrate your birthday, it will also mark Krispy Kreme’s 83rd Birthday this week too.
Richard Cheshire, CEO of Krispy Kreme UK & Ireland, said: “We started making our iconic Original Glazed doughnut from the USA in 1937 [and] ever since, we’ve always been committed to making people smile. For our birthday this year, we want to bring smiles to the millions of UK doughnut fans who feel like they missed out on celebrations this year by offering the joy of an Original Glazed treat on us”.
This offer is valid in all Krispy Kreme stores nationwide until Sunday 19th July only.
This unfortunately does not include cabinets within supermarkets such as Tesco and Sainsbury’s, and is not being offered for online orders either.
It’s also subject to availability and is limited to one per customer with a minimum purchase value of £1.55.
According to Krispy Kreme, to redeem your free Original Glazed Doughnut, all you’ll need to do is “simply go into a Krispy Kreme store with your valid ID and claim your birthday treat with a purchase”.
